Overview
The Tracking score measures time-tracking discipline by combining two sub-metrics, each worth up to 50 points:
- Timeliness — how punctually you submit your time.
- Quality — how many of your submitted entries are approved rather than rejected.
To reach the highest possible score, submit each workday on time and with correct entries.
Timeliness
Timeliness measures whether your workday was submitted on time, within the configured grace period. You get full points only if no entries were rejected and the day was submitted within the grace period. Late submission reduces the score in proportion to how far the grace period was exceeded.
Example: with a 12-hour grace period, you must submit your workday by noon the next day for full points. A later submission reduces the score accordingly.
Quality
Quality is based on how many of your submitted entries are approved versus rejected (the manager approval rate). With no rejections, you get full quality points; rejections reduce the score proportionally.
Example: if 4 of 8 entries are rejected on a day (50%), you receive 25 of 50 quality points.
Overall score and scopes
The Tracking score combines Timeliness and Quality for a maximum of 100 points. You can view it at different scopes:
- Daily — the score for a single day.
- Weekly — the aggregate score for the week.
On the staff profile and staff directory, two further breakdowns are shown:
- Overall score — the all-time aggregate Tracking score.
- Monthly score — a per-month breakdown, typically for the past six months.
